Join Our Lean In Circle

You’re invited to join Our Lean In Circle!

Recently, I posted on LinkedIn about how I had a wonderful Zoom call with the amazing Janine Kane! I originally met Janine on LinkedIn through one of my posts. She said that we are ‘professional soul mates’, and I agree! We were scheduled to talk for 30 minutes, but we connected so effortlessly, we talked for an hour and could have kept going. We talked about life, our work, our experiences as job-seekers, parents, and friends. It was good for the soul!

I mentioned having future calls and inviting people to be a part of them and I got some great messages from people who are interested.

I had to take some time to actually flesh out what that would look like. I’m big on not doing something just to do it. I would want our time together to be intentional, purposeful, and full of value.

Enter Lean In Circles!

I just completed the training last week and I am excited to invite you to be a part of “OUR” Lean In Circle, the “
Lean In and Connect Circle”.

What is a Lean In Circle?

Leaning in is not a solo endeavor. In a world where women still encounter bias and face various obstacles, Lean In Circles offer a safe and supportive space. It's a place to openly share struggles, seek and offer advice, and celebrate each other's achievements. Whether you're seeking guidance in navigating your evolving work environment or longing for support from empathetic women who understand your experiences, a Lean In Circle can provide the uplifting boost we all need.

Lean In Circles are dedicated to providing ongoing inspiration and support for women to achieve their goals.

Drawing inspiration from Sheryl Sandberg's influential book, Lean In, these small cohorts are designed to empower women in pursuing their aspirations and shifting the conversation from limitations to possibilities. I personally love this book! It was referenced a lot during my Women in Leadership program from Cornell University and in my Leadership With Agility class as part of my MBA.

Each Lean In Circle offers a valuable opportunity to connect with other women, fostering an environment where shared experiences allow for deep understanding and meaningful connections. By tapping into each other's insights and providing support, we can collectively grow and evolve. The dynamics of each group will naturally transform throughout the sessions, influenced by the active participation of the attendees.

Join us on this journey of empowerment, collaboration, and growth. Together, we can overcome barriers and achieve greatness.

What do I have to do?

The Lean In Circle is flexible and free. Come as you are. There are no requirements to attend the monthly calls. We’d love to see you there, but no stress if you can’t make it.

The calls will be on Zoom and will be held outside of work hours.

Who is it for?

Lean In Circles are for everyone. You can be located anywhere and join us.

Although, if you are local to me, this is one of the first Lean In Circles in the Pittsburgh area!
